Notes We’re Alive!Hello everyone! Hope your summers are going swimmingly.
Here’s an update from us here at WBCR. July has been a busy month. Marlee managed to get herself up to the Winnipeg folk festival and record some station tags.
Here she is talking to Gary Louris and Mark Olsen of the Jayhawks, some personal heroes of hers.
Great new music recently from Dawes, Gomez and many others. We’ve been diligently calling labels and being our charming, bubbly selves.

Notes Summer Programming 2011!Hello all!
Marlee Leebrick-Stryker here, one half of the summer management team here at WBCR. Along with Jeremy Cornelius, we are happy to welcome you to Summer Programming 2011! This season, WBCR activities may or may not include:
- Making the recording studio functioning
- Attending the Winnipeg Folk Festival in July and recording station tags from todays top folk artists (and then some)
- Playing sweet music
- Listening to sweet music
- Eating the goodies record labels send us (We got Nutella and a sucker shaped like a foot today)
- Dancing in the street!
